Love out log cabin. We had it delivered to South Florida and everything went perfect! The quality and workmanship is over the top. We will be buying another one. Still not settled in but getting there. Jordan the manager is the best! He answers all my questions. Once we are totally set up with some furniture, porch and carport addition I will repost my final pictures. So happy we found this log cabin. The factory was amazing to watch to see how they were being made. Great experience all together.

Massachusetts is the most populous state in the New England region of the US. It is the 6th smallest state by land area, but the 15th most populous overall. It is home to the urban core of Greater Boston, the largest metro area in New England.

Historically, the state of Massachusetts was one of the sites of early English colonization. The immigrants on the Mayflower formed the Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts Bay in 1620. They named the bay “Massachusetts” after the Massachusett Indians who lived in the area.

Today, Massachusetts is home to roughly 6,984,723 people, and there are plenty of things to see in MA, and lots of interesting history to discover! Here are a few of the most popular MA attractions:

  • Fenway Park
  • Freedom Trail
  • Boston Public Garden
  • Museum of Fine Arts
  • Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum
  • North End
  • Boston Public Library
  • The House of the Seven Gables
  • John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum and Library
  • Boston Common
  • Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
  • Faneuil Hall Marketplace

And plenty more interesting things to see and do scattered throughout the state’s 10,565 square miles of land area in MA.

The state of Massachusetts played a pivotal role in our nation’s history. Brittanica puts it like this:

Massachusetts is unique among states because its history and culture predate and epitomize the experiences of the country as a whole. It is commonly known that the Puritans and Pilgrims set the stage for eventual liberty of religious belief when they fled an oppressive government to settle in the New World. With such documents as the Mayflower Compact (1620) and the Body of Liberties (1641), an early code of law, they provided the basis for the concept that governments should rule by consent of the governed and with guarantees to protect individual expression.

These notions of individual liberty came into conflict with the colonies’ status as part of the British Empire. The American Revolution originated in Massachusetts with the first resistance against British colonial rules. It was in Massachusetts that the colonists raised the hue and cry against taxation without representation, as exemplified by the Boston Tea Party; the activism of the Massachusetts colonists inspired others and culminated in the “shot heard round the world” at the Battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775.
