The Construction

Our approach to construction makes things very simple for you while delivering the highest quality product. Our cabins are built on trailers and are a max of 400 square feet (not including porch and/or loft). Because we deliver the cabins ready to go, it eliminates the difficulty and expense of getting contractors and supplies to the necessary location.

All of Lancaster Log Cabin’s builds are turn-key projects. Just hook-up water and sewer and your cabin is ready to go! Included in the price are beautiful, handcrafted furniture (e.g., table and stools, beds, a futon) and all of the kitchen appliances.

Site preparation can be difficult in the remote locations where hunting cabins are built. Thankfully, our cabins don’t require a lot of site preparation. All that is needed is a concrete or stone pad and electricity and water/sewer hookups.

The Materials

LLC’s cabins are built with 100% solid log timber. Unlike the stereotype that often surrounds prefabricated cabins, our cabins are built to last 50+ years and require little maintenance. Because of the quality construction, they also don’t depreciate quickly like other prefab hunting cabins.

Designed with Eastern White Pine, LLC’s park model cabins possess a beautiful, rustic aesthetic that's perfect for a hunting cabin. Not only does this create a warm, cozy interior, but it also matches and adds to the rustic visual appeal of a hunting property.

With their efficient, open layout, our cabins are a great use of space. Some of our designs can sleep up to ten people!

The Maintenance

LLC’s hunting cabins don’t require a lot of maintenance, even in the winter. Since all water lines are on the inside of the cabin, no winterization is technically necessary. As long as there’s heat in the cabin, there’s no need to worry about frozen water lines. However, if you’re not planning to use your hunting cabin in the winter, you can easily winterize it by draining the water lines.
