"Years ago, we bought a 34-foot-long cabin to act as a vacation/summer residence. My wife and I were so thrilled with this original cabin we sold our year-round house and bought another 34-foot-long cabin that we placed end-to-end and attached to the existing cabin to act as our new year-round house. With some minor insulation improvements on the interior walls and ceiling, we were able to bring our new 68-foot-long cabin up to code, and [we] are extremely happy with our new home. You will notice in the pics that both of our cabins are on full walk-out basements, and we added an enclosed porch on one of the cabins that we regularly use."

Turn-key construction

All of LLC’s homes are turn-key projects. This means that when they are delivered, you can move in right away! Just hook up the water and sewer, and you’re good to go. Beautiful, handmade furniture (e.g., table and stools, beds, a futon) and all appliances are included in the price of the home. (Don’t need all of the furniture? Some of the pieces are optional.)

100% solid log construction

Guest homes from Lancaster Log Cabins are built from 100% solid Eastern White Pine. These homes can last 50+ years and require minimal maintenance.

Rustic, natural aesthetics

The solid log construction gives the cabin a beautiful, rustic aesthetic on the inside and outside. This creates a warm, homey atmosphere connected with nature.

Durable

Unlike many park model homes currently for sale that lack durability and quickly lose value, LLC's park model homes are built with solid wood and designed for efficiency and retain their value over time

No permits or property taxes

Because park model homes are classed as RVs, permits and property taxes are usually not required. However, be sure to check your local laws to ensure this is the case in your area.

How your guest house winters is an important concern if you live in a seasonal climate. Because of their natural log constitution, LLC’s park model guest horses heat very efficiently. All water lines are on the inside of the home, so as long as there’s heat on in the house, there’s need to worry about frozen water lines!
