Building a tiny cabin can be difficult, even though it seems like it should be a small project! At Lancaster Log Cabins, we understand this challenge. We navigate this issue by building portable small cabins in our shop and delivering them move-in ready!

But there are many companies that build portable park model tiny cabins. What sets these apart?

Real Log Construction 

Our cabins are built with the highest quality products. The crowning jewel of these materials is the real log construction. This adds to the value and overall longevity of the cabin. Not to mention the beautiful appearance of natural wood – but more on that later. 

Say goodbye to your worries about a cheaply built portable cabin! We use real log timber for the siding, walls, ceiling beams, floors, doors, tables, and cabinets. There is also an option to add more solid log furniture including a complete bedroom suite!

Aesthetics 

As we alluded to earlier, the natural wood interiors and exteriors create a beautiful, rustic aesthetic. We use Eastern White Pine which allows the spaces to remain more light and airy. This creates a warm, homey, and inviting space. The exterior aesthetic allows the cabins to blend with and complement the natural world surrounding them. 

The cabin layouts also contribute to the overall aesthetic. Each layout combines openness and efficiency, allowing for great use of space while not feeling cramped or crowded.

Unlike many portable small cabins, the high-quality material and construction mean these tiny cabins maintain their value well over time. Our cabins can last 50+ years with proper maintenance. In fact, if you no longer need your cabin, we’ll buy it back! Of course, the exact buyback price will depend on its condition.

Because these small cabins are built on trailers, they are classified as RVs. This means that in most areas they don’t require permits or property taxes! However, be sure to check your local laws and codes.
